Senior Data Engineer - Contractor Pool

- Contract opportunities can vary in a number of ways, including:
- Hours: Full-time, part-time, or project-specific hours
- Length: small projects to long-term evergreen needs

Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound data pipelines that ingest client data and produce results in realtime; requires flexible inbound and outbound configurations and flexible data mapping within a distributed system.
- Working with Java, Kafka, and event driven systems.
- Designing data structures and modeling and mapping data.
- Working with, or a willingness to dive into Neo4j.
- Working with, or a willingness to dive into serverless architecture.
- Writing unit and integration tests.
- Releasing software into production and validating functionality.
- Contributing to deployment automation.
- Identifying the need for, and building internal tools to help the developer experience.

Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
